Simple Sites that Make Money Part 3

Welcome back to our mini series on profit making web sites.

OK, so you may of taken a look at the site I posted in the last article. It is a simple site, very easy to set up and only took a little research on my part to get started.

For stats point of view, it is not massive ranked in search engines, but at the time of posting this article it was on page 3 for two similar search terms and page one for another just on Google.

We come up in searches for many other terms, which I will not bore you with now :)
But the traffic at this point is not massive by any means,

The site was first opened in January 2010 “Creation date: 04 Jan 2010 17:57:31.”
It hovers around the 300 unique visitor mark per month at this point with pretty much a hands off approach.

The site brings in some ad revenue, some from CPA and Amazon content, but it really would benefit from someone taking it on as a project and really pushing the content, social networking, video promotions and other means and ways.

The point I am trying to make here is that Anyone Really Can Work from Home if they want to. Putting up a site is simple and takes little time, especially with one click installs such as WordPress and the like.

I know $10 is pretty useless to quit the day job. But think about this for one moment.
If you started building a network of these sites, focus on putting good content on them. Then use the income generated to outsource and push the site over the top, you could soon produce a healthy $100+ per site profit per month. Build just 50 of these sites in your first year, and you then make $5000 per month.

The alternative is to have one or two sites and really focus on content and volume that interests readers. One site alone can make you $1,000 – $10,000 per month if you work at it.

Another alternative is to flip sites. Build sites to make around $100 per month, then sell them for around $1,500 each. Build a site to around $2,000 per month and you can sell for as much as $30,000+

You need to think about small steps in the beginning. Imagine what life would be like if you could take a loved one out for a meal in a nice restaurant every month. Let us say it costs you $250 for a Great Night Out.

Then set out your game plan to build a site or sites that bring you to that point. Then start enjoying the fruits (or the meals) of your hard work. Next step to maybe make the car payment plan covered every month. Then your mortgage, then the kids private school, then the trips abroad each year, then the total redecoration of your home etc.. Build up a plan step by step, but focus on getting to the first step before you plan that yacht, house in the country and the villa by the beach :)

This is not some imaginary guru spin! This is reality! It is how I build my own home!

Look out for the next instalment, when we begin to look at what tools you are going to need, how much time to expect and where you get started.

Have a great day.
