Vince Tan is at it again.
In case the name Vince Tan is not yet ringing any bells with you, this
is the guy that pulled off one of the biggest firesales of 2007, doing
$69,000 in sales in a mere 7 days.
From basically nowhere.
Yes, he came out of nowhere and racked up the kind of sales that some
never accomplish after years of being online.
He proved that it you WANT it you can do it. In fact, Vince became
quite the inspiration for many a marketer who never thought this kind
of fast online success to be possible.
So why is this on this blog, what does it have to do with you and why
am I writing about it.
Well here is some info for you.
1) Why is it on this blog?
(A) First of all, this will be a great case study for you to watch from
an early point (if you are reading this post before mid November 08
of course).
2) What does it have to do with you.?
(A) Please read part one above, you can learn from this promotion. Plus
if you actually go to the site before they launch and are one of the top
10 people to guess the pack value, you could actually win the whole lot
that will be on offer for fr.ee
3) Why am I writing about it?
(A) First of all, I already signed up for this, and I may or may not
make some affiliate commissions when the product goes live in November,
so I get to make a little something potentially. But I also think this
is a great opportunity for a few of you reading this to maybe win all
the products that will be in this firesale and from what I have read,
it will be an awesome package to own, let alone win for free.
I also will be following this closely as it goes hand in hand with one
of the modules I am putting into my new training program. Traffic
generation is a big subject for many people and this site is using some
great traffic techniques.
a) Viral
b) Affiliates
c) JV Partners
d) Pre-launch buzz and link backs to their site BEFORE they launch
e) ….
Well I will discuss the others in my course.
Vince has made it his personal goal to show that ANYONE that wants to
accomplish this kind of success online can do it, regardless of how
much money they have OR don’t have to start with.
Vince’s firesale will go live on 18th November, BUT for now, you stand a
chance to win the complete firesale package plus some other extra stuff
by going to the site below and guessing the total value of the firesale package!
Remember, that’s 100+ top IM products that are currently selling in the
market Today!
Of course I’ve already put in my guess
Vince has already managed to get over 100 Top Marketers to join forces
on this, again, without spending any of his own money, so you really
should follow this closely, and be on the lookout for the official launch
on November 18th, 2008.
Let me know what you think of the site by posting your comments below..
Also, feel free to ask anything about I.M here too
To your success

Thanks, Mr. Salter. I like your site too. I’d love to be able to make more sales and get money flowing through my paypal a/c. My marketing strategies need a serious overhaul. Got any suggestions?

Hi Richard.
Thanks for your post.
A hard question to answer in one sitting, and not to avoid your question, but to just be honest.
I cannot cover everything from scratch, but here are some pointers for you.
1) Start a Focused blog on the Niche Market you are interested in.
2) Add good content to that blog
3) Once you are seeing some traffic (even as low as 20-50 uniques per day), make sure you have ways to monetise your blog. (Related Affiliate Programs and even adsense) -
You can see from your Web Stats inside your cPanel area of your hosting account your daily traffic.
4) Capture names, or at least have ways for them to keep coming back. Feedburner for example can be connected to your blog so people can sign up to your RSS feed either in the usual RSS feed reader way, or even by email.
(example at this point is you can sign up to my feed on this site by clicking the sign up by email link top right. This is connected to feedburner and will send you updates when I make more posts to keep you up to speed).
5) Write your own content in the early days of the blog, it will help you to learn more about your passion / niche etc and will develop a style that others will relate to and see as you.
6) Once you have around 21 days of content, start writing articles and posting them on article directories. Relate these to the content you already posted on your blog (but make them unique) and then link back to your posts.
(IMPORTANT, make sure 3 and 4 are done first)
7) Find other quality blog sites related to your niche and make informed and good comments on their posts (if allowed) and then have the post link back to your blog (on related posts).
Give away your short report for free in exchange for the persons name. Then sell them on the benefit of the main product (using your affiliate link).
You do not need hard sell here. If your report is well written and related and they are signing up to get it, then you have already part qualified the persons interest in the niche you are promoting. Be sure to let them know what is in it for them to get the product you are promoting.
If possible and over time, create more products and or reports that are related to the affiliate product you are promoting that compliment or even fill some gaps. Then offer them as free bonuses if they purchase via your link and send you a proof of purchase email. The great hook here is that they cannot get your unique produced complimenting product anywhere else, so a good reason to buy from you and not someone else.
9) Once you qualify the demand for your affiliate product (or even your own if you are already making them).
Then cement the site by using other traffic strategies to get people to your site. Consider adwords, approaching potential JV partners, videos, social networking, forum sig files, offline ads (if well paid affiliate or own product), EBAY, viral marketing, well set up affiliate promo tools if your own product etc.
10) Repeat in other niches that are similar to your first and then begin to network all the sites and build a good AutoResponder series for your visitors to read that link to your network of sites.
If possible allow your affiliates to refer people to your newsletter site with their affiliate link embeded, so as people are “sold” on the benefits of your products, your refering affiliate will make commission. This will encourage them to send traffic to your newsletter
The BIGGEST mistake most people make is jumping around from one thing to the next.
(Don’t worry, I did it too). But what you actually need to do is focus on one thing at a time in the beginning (by all means test other things), but aim your main time at one product or niche at a time and build it before you move on.
Once you have a site making you $50 a day, then you can either develop it more, or then move on to the next one depending on the niche, the potential etc.
It seems hard to imagine, but lets say it takes you 6 months to get a site up to $50 per day. That means by the end of year 1, you are making on average, $3000 per month.
By the end of year 2, that will be $6,000 or more likely, even higher as you will see traffic being generated at a higher rate and the sites feeding off of each other.
But NOTE to self: Do not keep being distracted by the next big thing or “amazing discovery”… it is what will suck your time and ultimately your cash.
Hope this helps a little? If you have more questions, feel free to ask
All the best and have a great day.

I think this is a great offer. Glad you posted. I will definitely keep track of this firesale. It is burning red hot!

This sounds very interesting, especially the advice about coollecting names etc. However, I have not grasped what a firesale is exactly, and how do we benefit from one. Please explain.

A Firesale comes from the old sales strategy of “everything must go”.
Typically it started when companies had a genuine fire, and there were damaged goods or they need to close out the business.
So a firesale literally came from that.
Nowadays, firesale is an internet used term for packaging many items in one place in a sales format that would get you all the items much cheaper as a pack than if you purchased them all together.
Hope that helps?
Nice site by the way Webologist
All the best
