I think the thing that would help me most would be How to Build My Own Website and PPC Marketing. They seem, for me at least, to be the hardest part of getting really started in Internet Marketing, well and alsobuilding that list everyone talks about.

    Thanks,

    Sheila

I am trying to use trafficwave.net autoresponder and I am having a difficult time following the given instructions. I would like to have direct instructions as to how to use the autoresponder and how to pair it up with my website. I do have quite a list of prospects. Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.

    Sheila,

I believe the best way to learn how to build a website is wordpress. I can build a website within 5 minutes. See the video on the right

Hello Martin & Lizel, I’ve been trying to get ‘off the ground’ with a number things just to get started with making an income but I’ve become overwhelmed.I believed that I could at least understand some parts of Internet marketing but what a FOOL!! Yes,I need assistance…. I need to regroup my mess on my Desktop;get downloads & items filed, quit opening EVERY e-mail(I was told by Latifh[Googlesnatch 2]that should be one of the most things to do first). So you can see where my mindless doings have gotten me.Talk Again Soon,Jeffre or ‘lost in the ethernet’

Help with PPC Marketing may be at the top of my list. PPC is claimed to be the quickest method to start making money. Many of us don’t have excess funds to make mistakes for long. So, advice on how to get click-throughs and sales without having to test too many ad versions would be very helpful.

Hi Sheila, I had my site made for me by a Polish guy and it has left me rather ignorant on site building, so I too would like to hear from a genuine person regarding site building from start to finish.
There must be a kindly person out there who would be willing to help without their personal additions etc.
I think that a great idea would be to offer a percentage of the profits for this help.
My very best regards to you,

    Anthony.

First of all it is great to see some posts from you guys!
Thanks for taking the time to make a comment.

I will go through each one in order I got them on the blog :)

Sheila: How to Build My Own Website and PPC.
When you say how to build your own website, do you mean using
a blog (like this site does) or do you mean using coding like
    HTML, your own images etc??

The first is easy to do, the second takes a little more time,
some patience and a good book or 6!

I learned basic HTML and PHP from reading books and watching
videos, all of which I paid for, in money and time.

I have set up a site that will give you free content every month
including how to build a basic website and even some good marketing
    reports that will be free.

Obviously there is paid areas and recommendations as I cannot
do everything for free :) but it should help.

Mary: Start up to Success? It is funny, when I got started on the
net, I wanted this to. The trouble is that it is hard for people
to give all that away and to charge absolutely nothing. Yes, I
believe that people should help others, but if they give it all
away when it is likely they spent months, even years learning, then
    they get nothing back.

I have set up a solution to this in part with the following:
If you look on this blog you will see I mention about a training
course that I am going to be running. It includes a coaching element,
even one to one calls for a whole month, then access to video and
support desk coaching from month two.

I have not posted to that thread the final details yet, as I was
waiting for people to make comments. But here is the inside scoop
for you. I am NOT charging for this coaching program… It will
be free (to a point) on my part. The way I will be working it is
as follows. If you purchase one monthly resource via my link, I
will then throw in the coaching program for free.

The resource is under $100 per month, but it gives you absolutely
everything you need, and what you would have to purchase anyway,
like hosting, membership and products management scripts, autoresponder
(one of the best on the market today) and even products to sell
    plus more.

Without any coaching, you need these items for your business
anyway, so getting them from my link is a win for everyone.
I get some compensation as it is my affiliate link, you get all
the tools you need plus the support and training.. How does that
    sound??

David: Sorry, I am actually not familiar with the autoresponder
you speak of. Usually with an autoresponder, you make the form
code that you want to appear on your site, and then simply
cut and paste the resulting code and put it into your own
    site.

Have you tried writing to the site owners at all? If you need
more help, shoot me a message to my support desk and refer back
to this blog post so the guys no what it is about. I will then
see what I can do for you. http://www.thecustomersupportdesk.com

Saundra: Shoot me a message to my support desk (as listed in above
comment) and tell me more about your product / service. I can give
you tips and advice on how to get those partners you want.

Jeffre: You are so right. Getting organised is critical. Having
a filing system that makes sense to you and helps you have everything
in place is crucial. But you also need to ensure that you stop
reading every “this is how to succeed email” and then buying their
products. It leads to information overload and you end up doing
    nothing.

Here is a little tip for you - Choose what it is you would like to
make money from to start with. Affiliate Marketing, Adsense, Your
own Product, Private Label Rights, EBAY, Freelancing etc…

Then set out a game plan (use something like Freemind, a great and
free mindmap tool). Plan out what you need in order to achieve
the one strategy. Then start at the beginning and do something. IE,
start a blog, ad content, learn to write articles, start getting
traffic and driving it back to your site. Have a good offer, get
names on your list, build your business one block at a time.

Do everything that you can and know how to do in that market to
build your site(s). Only purchase something that is directly
related to your goal and NOTHING else. Do not fall for the “only
12 more will be sold” tricks and traps of other products. If it
does not give you something that you NEED in order to complete
goal one. Do NOT buy it!

That will control your spending and focus you more on reaching your
first goal. This may only be to sell your first affiliate product.
But it is a goal and one that will then drive you forward.

A good tip also is this. If you read an email which takes you to
a salespage that makes you want to jump on the buy now button, do
    these 2 things.

#1 Add it to your bookmarks folder called swipe file. If it almost
made you purchase, then it is good sales copy (likely, but not
always). You can use some of the copy tricks in your own work.

#2 CLOSE the page. Think about it seriously overnight, or at least
for a whole day. If you really NEED it to help you in your current
goal (see point earlier) then maybe purchase it. If it is not aimed
at what you need right now for that one goal (not just ways to make
money) then do NOT buy it. Start a spreadsheet on all the times you
neally purchase something and also what you do purchase. Each month
tally up the “spend”. The money where you almost purchased could
be going toward learning Pay Per Click. Or some other kind of traffic
building, like paying someone to write articles for you.

Also, see my note to Mary above.

DJ: I am adding a PPC module to my coaching program (which is
close to free as I can get it, see other notes above.) The trouble
is that without actually seeing exactly what you are doing every
step of the way, it is hard for someone to help you. That kind of
    coaching is expensive :)

However, there are ways to learn the basics and I will cover this
in time (I may put out some free videos on this blog too).
The way to learn though really is trial and error. But tracking
everything so you are not working blind and guessing. This is where
    most people go wrong.

Plus this is a business and you need to understand that every step
of the way. Like any business, some kind of investment capital is
needed. Even if that means putting in a little overtime in the day
job to fund it from the beginning. It is exactly what I did. I was
working a 7 day week 14+ hour job in the beginning of my Internet
Marketing time. It is not ideal by anymeans, but it comes down to
how much you want it in the long term.

Anthony: Please see my comment to Mary earlier in the thread. I would
be happy to help you, but it needs us to meet part of the way.. and
it will cost no more for you than you will need to spend on the usual
business costs, like Hosting, Scripts, Autoresponders etc… Let
me know if this would help you?

    To everyone else reading:
I will be making some video replies to this thread soon, so if you
are sitting there with a question whilst you read this blog, then
ask it here. The more direct questions posted, the more I can help
    you.

To your success and all the best
