How do you increase your online profits? It is so important to reach more of your
target market with your product offers. Having many affiliates promoting your
product offers is a good way to increase your profits, but not all affiliates are
considered equal in terms of their ability to effectively promote your product
offers to the people they market them to.
It is usually refered to as the 80/20 rule, but it is often the case that it
can be more like the 90/10 or at best the 85/15.
What is meant by this is that approximately 85% of your affiliate sales come from
just 15% of your affiliates. These are often known as Super Affiliates.
Preferably, you really want to increase the number of super affiliates in your sales
force in order to see a substantial rise in your profits.
Super affiliates are those affiliates who have a good deal of experience promoting
and selling many products for many different marketers, with great success in making
many sales.
As a result, super affiliates make sizable profits for both themselves and the owners
of the products they are marketing.
This results in more marketers wanting those super affiliates to join their affiliate
ranks so that they can boost the number of sales of their products, and thereby, their
profits.
While there are some affiliates who become super affiliates almost overnight, most of
them have built their way up from being a regular affiliate who makes a few sales here
and there into an affiliate who almost always generates a lot of sales from just sending
out some emails to his/her list(s) and recommends your product.
This is because these affiliates have learned what it takes to succeed at affiliate
marketing through trial and error, as well as learning and applying what other super
affiliates are doing to achieve their successful marketing results and profits.
A great way to get more Super Affliates is to actually train them. One option could be
a super affiliate academy, where you have a V.I.P members area built especially for
your super affiliates only.
You can have a special notice in your affiliate promo tools area showing that when
an affiliate makes just XX number of sales (this could be as low as 5 or so) then they
will be upgraded to Super Affiliate Status. Here they can get access to more advanced
tools and maybe even overide bonuses. A good example of this is the tiered approach that
many high streets adopt and will offer via programs like affiliate window etc.
Do you have an easy way to offer promo tools to your affiliates and your products? I personally
now use a great promo tools creator that takes 95% of all the hassle out of making promo tools pages for my affiliates and allows them to put in their affiliate ID and have tools in an instant. It is called Promo Page Creator from John Delavera, a great product and a low price too. Something I am adding to many of my own sites now.
Effectively the more sales you make, the higher your commission grows. Sometimes it can
be especially high at peak times of the year as retailers know the importance of recruiting
the super affiliates into their business.
Training your regular affiliates to become super affiliates and then rewarding them will
see many remain loyal to your cause for years to come.
